The Vorpal Sword (Lewis Carrol and D&D fame, name optional) AA ability, can scale with larger amounts of AA's Basicly an etherial, summoned graphic blade, with a number of procs based on the level of aa purchased EG: rank 1 aa = 5 procs, rank 2 aa = 6 procs ect ect. Decent stats both hps / ac / mana wise maybe on a raid level to appease the raiders, and to toss a bone to the groupers, but the beauty is the proc, if you could call it "Snicker-snack" im sure lewis carrol would love you. So say a 1h wep, lore, summoned, temporary, sk only (as to not be passable around), 140 - 150 AC 3500 - 4000 hps maybe some great damage 300 - 350 damage, 34 - 36 delay, 5 procs of "Snicker-Snack" a large, corruption based DD (Pally slay level, think theyre up to 80 - 100k now so whatever base slay is before the AA's effect it, so the proc hits for close to slay damage level) that consumes the blade upon the 5th charge. As the AA's scale up you get more procs. maybe a long recast time so it doesnt become abusive. Upon summoning vorpal blade it consumes the hitpoints of your group members to produce it, makeing it dangerous to utilize in heavy AE raid scenarios. Its lore and no rent tags make it impossible to premake many of them, no drop means they cant be passed out. Haveing to summon and actually equip it, adds to the difficulty of use. Making the blade self destruct after x amount of procs limits its "overuse" As the game progresses you can up the stats and proc number count based upon AA ranks. This is what I pm'd eldroth

From 2013 Thread (removed non aa stuff): Rolling over last years thread/discussions subtracting what we got: DPS * Gift of Deathly Resolve style activated AA. * Funeral Pyre style activated AA. Hate -beam-AE hate -totem that AEs fear, hate, or pull effect -viral hate DoT Tanking * An immunity discipline for Stun or Charm or the like. Though tanking-related, this really serves more of a utility role in that it creates a reason to want SK's in your raid for certain events without affecting broader tank balance. (Compare: Fearless AA circa PoTime.) -rune-proc off lifetaps -reverse leechcurse (incoming melee heals the user) Utility * A short-duration debuff similar in concept to Calanin's Synergy. This could be incorporated into the next iteration of the fledgling Gouging Blade line. The debuff should benefit a variety of classes and last just 1-2 ticks; possible effects might include a substantial bonus to Bash and Kick (not Flying Kick et al.) damage taken. -call to corpse -short duration large weapon proc modifier

My requests: Some sort of unique raid ability that makes raid leaders say we need an sk or two so they can "insert something cool here" AA to speed up terrors to instant and to speed up AE aggro cast time. This is one of the things that could answer the above statement was if SK's were given a clear domination in aggro generating ability. "Feel my Pain" AA - AA that will allow us to share the damage we take with the group for a short time - but ONLY if we top the hate list for multiple mobs. Would be unique, a "dirty trick" that fits the class, and very useful in certain raid situations. Those are the only 2 things I have right now that would give us the type of raid utility we need imo. A large aggro advantage and/or the ability to dominate in multi mob situations. Other that we are really left with spell type debuffs which I'm not all that big on but having one unique and useful one would help the raid utility cause.

Well, since our swarming was "crippled" and whatnot, its time whoever has the devs ear to bust out ideas we always wanted but swarming hampered the idea(s) in the devs eye.

Don't have the dev ear at all, but I will pass on ideas here to the CRT new aa thread. Elidroth in the past has said swarming was holding us back, so I think asking for something that is "game-changing" in some way is quite reasonable. Especially in the raid utility arena.

How about a spell that summons an item onto a target player, another spell to cast on the MT. The items cause all hate generated by the players that possess the item to the MT. Put whatever limits on the spells that are necessary. Also an AA ability for SK's and Palladin's called knights charge or some such. Have it be an AoE stun that increases in duration and area the more knights involved in the charge. Have it cap at 10 total knights.
