Certain things just fundamentally changed the core of EQ; cleric mercs and rez stones are near (or at) the top of that list.

Wanted:

Spells:
Touch of Holmein - cast time reduced to 1 sec or less
Bonemaw's Bite - cast time reduced to 1 sec or less
Lifetaps - cast time reduced to 0.5 sec
Impose for Power - cast time reduced to 0.5 sec
DoTs - combine each line and remove the 3s spellbar refresh (make it normal 1.5s)

Items:
Weapons - every expansion knights are lucky to get maybe 1 new weapon for the expansion. How about more choices. 1 or 2 of each 1HB, 1HS, 1HP, and same for 2H knight weapons.
Epic/Mini Epic - remove counters since swarming is dead. Fixed duration like before.

AA:
Voice of Thule: Self only Buff (Instant Cast) - other tanks do not need us buffing them.
-- Increase duration of buff to 1 hour or perm.

Focused Bites: make AA reduce cast time of Bite spells and increase the damage.

Make HA work on white (even con mobs).

Forceful Rejuvenation: reset clicky item timers also.

Trade RB (necro AA) for Soul Flay - have necros provide mana to group with Soul Flay when they cast dots and we could use RB to heal group when we lifetap. Those changes would make more sense than current setup of these 2 AA. SKs cast alot of lifetaps and necro never do. RB triggers off lifetaps only and is completely useless to necros right now. Just make Soul Flay trigger off any DoT for necros or make RB useful for them again.

Double Riposte: allow a 10% chance to riposte non-targeted mob attacks.

Banestrike: make it mean something - make it take 5% of non-boss mob HP + debuff mob like a mini Tvyl's Resolve or something.

So far from what I have seen, they have no real interest to communicate ideas between players and dev this year. Fun times

The worse thing to happen is for people to lose interest. Right now, I have no interest and I don't see / hear anything to pique my interest. Cutting off the community certainly doesn't help that.

At least EoK brought Kunark, and some new abilities and unique spells (whether you liked them or not).

So far RoS has nothing of the sort. Here's the AAs on beta now. Every single ability/spell is just a few more tiers of the same stuff.

13th spell gem is nice. But hardly "interesting".

I was kind of surprised at how cheap they have gotten on the stuff you get for purchasing it. The basic expansion gives you basically nothing at all when you buy it? That shit costs them pretty much nothing and only helps to push sales. I refuse to buy the higher cost expansion for a few trinkets. Hell I liked em better when I had to go to Best Buy and buy the damn software.
